October’s private studio is easily accessible from the Greater Los Angeles area, students of all ages are welcomed. Her specialties include beginners, first-time songwriters, the young ones (ages 4-8), and basic improvisation. Lessons are personalized to fit a student’s pace, goals, and focus.

Group

Group classes are a great way to get started on the instrument! October currently leads the group guitar program for adults at Baxter Northup Music, located in Sherman Oaks, California. Courses range from a basic introduction to chords and strumming to the more intermediate skills of barre chords and finger-style.

Classes run in four and eight week sessions with a repertoire culled from a variety of musical genres (as well as student input). For a list of current course offerings please click here.
